With a base installed worlwide on more than 10 thousand stations, Winnix (formelly Star Emul) is an emulator enabling a client's station to reach an application handled on a main server. Winnix is distributed by a valued added Resellers' network (VAR) joined to Easy Soft for Europe and to Nozumi Solutions, Easy Soft's subsidiary, for America.

Winnix is above all an INTELLIGENT EMULATOR

  • Installation on client PC station equiped with 16 and 32 bits Windows ( 98, XP, 2000, VISTA ...) including TSE/CITRIX mode under Windows Mobile , MAC

  • Respect of telnet and ssh protocol of communication to connect to application server

  • Classic emulation execution : ANSI ...

  • Multilingual display

  • Typical UNIX, LINUX, WINDOWS' text mode application running, including file transfers between the server and the client's station

  • Graphic application's ergonomy obtained through specific characters sequence (ESCAPE) calling Windows objects including ActiveX etc... For example, it enables tactile interfaces' creation (sale center, industrial running ...);

  • Handling multivalued data bases' specificities : Universe, Unidata, jBase, D3, QM, Onware ...with adapted file transfers.

 

Winnix is also an APPLICATION EMULATOR

Components of development library in « multivalued basic » which enables to insert graphical functionnalities fastly in an existing application such as attached file management (helping dematerialize documents for a better information sharing and stocking.

Winnix is at the heart of MACONWIN's developpement workship as well

  • As a Rapid Application Development (RAD) tool, or development enhancer, MACONWIN is above all data acquisition's screens and event mode menu generator, including Winniw functions.

  • MACONWIN also includes a toolbox facilitating treatments, editions...
