Winnix evolves on a daily basis. Here is a list of functionalities added in each version.
Version 2.30
Addition of the keep-alive signal: Winnix sends the keep-alive signal to the remote server at pre-defined frequencies in order to confirm that the network link is still active. This signal also serves to keep the network link active and avoid the link's disconnection.
Automatic copy of selected text: selecting text with the mouse automatically copies the highlighted content on the clipboard.
Task bar icon management compatible with Citrix Metaframe in seamless mode. Generally speaking, version 2.30 offers vastly improved operation in Citrix Metaframe or Windows Terminal Server (TSE) type installations.
Customization with the reseller's or client's corporate colours:the About Us box can display tailored information by installation. The reseller's or client's logo can replace the Winnix logo.
Wait, there's more: support for defining image sizes in an image button, combo box opening and closing events, commands for inhibiting automatic wrap-around of button titles and field labels, size event in controls, both new and upgraded commands facilitating tab processing, idle time-out parameterization, etc.
