Winnix Integrator Version 2 provides all the power of the latest versions of Microsoft Windows. Entirely designed around and based on a 32-bit architecture, it allows you to benefit from the complete line of ActiveX controls in the market.
SEE THE POWER THAT WINNIX INTEGRATOR 2 CAN BRING TO YOUR APPLICATIONS.
32-bit Architecture: Enhanced performance on Windows Terminal Server and CITRIX Metaframe
In 16-bit mode, every WINNIX instance requires initiating a 16-bit virtual machine that is more memory-intensive and prevents code sharing.
Every 32-bit system already features this behaviour.
WINNIX 2 is particularly well-suited to TSE/CITRIX thin clients: AXEL and WYSE panels, etc.
WINNIX 2 is compatible with all Windows 32-bit and soon 64-bit platforms.
Simplifiable roll-out: option to have a .ses configuration file parameterized on one workstation and copied onto the others.
UTF8 Coding Support
Some multivalued databases contain their own Java connectors that write data in UTF8.
With UTF8, several alphabets can be used transparently, so the 256-character barrier is torn down.
UNICODE Character Table
Availability of a version supporting latin and arabic
SSH1 and SSH2 support for secured connections
Finer emulation parameterization
Capability of filtering decoded and/or displayed characters.
For example, the OEM 437 font can be displayed via SM9400 emulation.
More flexibility in emulator font selection
Character graphics are drawn; ANSI fonts without character graphics are ideal.
Extensive library of fixed-size TrueType fonts: Courier, Courier New, Lucida Console, etc.
Screen transparency capability through the use of a graphical printer, with option to define the font to be used (GDI printer)
Advanced screen capture tools
Increase in number of events manageable via script or other action
Apart from the standard opening, logon, logoff and emergency logon scripts, you can now define the following:
OLE container: access to the entire library of ActiveX controls in the market
Sharper-looking graphic screen images
Refined font selection for each object
Accessibility of colours defined in the configuration panel
Several measuring units enabling to prevent the font from being blocked at the size defined by the font emulator
Image format type support extended: jpg, gif, etc.
Capability for developing screen images without any emulation area
Interactive screen image development in design mode
Interface for defining objects' properties and events
Interface for moving objects, re-sizing them, etc.
Alphanumeric naming
Saving in script format
Tool bars are no longer limited to buttons: any control can be inserted.
